Open Public Records

The City of Salinas strives to support the public's right to access the public records. Use of the NextRequest platform is intended to facilitate public access to public records. Previous requests and responsive documents are viewable here online. You may even find what you're looking for without having to submit a new request! Official records are held by City departments and the Clerk pursuant to governing documents and retention schedules. The public can inspect or receive a copy of any record unless the record is exempted from disclosure under the California Public Records Act (CPRA).
