On December 5, 2023, the City Council approved the plans and specifications for the Citywide Sidewalk Repair Project Phase II and authorized the invitation for bids. This project continues the City's efforts to repair and rehabilitate deteriorated or damaged street areas and make improvements to meet current state and federal ADA requirements. The scope includes removing and replacing damaged concrete sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and driveway approaches; grinding sidewalk offsets; installing ADA-compliant pedestrian curb ramps; pruning tree roots for concrete repairs; removing unstable street trees; and planting new street trees where conditions allow. The Citywide Sidewalk Repair Project Phase II aims to enhance the safety and accessibility of our sidewalks for all residents.
