Division Chief Limon was hired by the Salinas Fire Department in 2005 and was promoted to the Division Chief rank in 2022 after serving as a Firefighter and Captain (promoted 2015).
He has been involved in the Training Division his entire career and has led several programs including the CISM/Peer Support Team, the NFIRS Report Checkers as well as been involved in multiple academy instruction, most specifically with developing the department’s ground ladder curriculum.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of California, Davis (2001) and an Associates of Science degree in Fire Science from Rio Hondo College (2004). He also holds a Chief Officer certificate and is a state certified Instructor through the State Fire Marshall’s office.
